The book of Revelation was first written to seven churches in Asia Minor nearly 2,000 years ago — but it was also written for us. In His words to these churches, Jesus reveals both their faithfulness and their failures, reminding us that despite centuries of human progress, not much has changed. The same vices and virtues continue to shape his followers and church today. Christ’s urgent call to repent, endure, and remain faithful is just as timely and pressing now as it was then.
